The EDB.1 is a specialist dual purpose blade, designed for abrasive brick, block, soft and abrasive concrete and asphalt. It has a very high concentration of diamond in a highly developed bond and features a 10mm high segment. It also features TC (tungsten carbide) inserts for undercut protection on the abrasive materials. Although this has been designed as a dual purpose blade, if cutting a lot of one material at the very hard or the very soft and abrasive end of the spectrum, we would recommend using a specialist blade for that material.
